Slate’s new go-to outside spot features many table games such as Uno and Jengo to bring the fun to your next summer outing as well as celebratory drinks to kick off the good vibes!
The new outside dining space, called Penalty Box features high-top tables, wall greenery and even a life-size moon man that is perfect for photo-opps. Slate’s delicious menu included macaroni and cheese bites, tomato-basil bruschetta, truffle risotto stuffed mushrooms and more which were created by Executive Chef Darryl Harmon.
For drinks I went for the PacMan punch with a pina colada taste that’s perfect for summer. Other great options (that I had difficulty choosing between) were Jumpin’ Jenga, Run The Table and High Score. There were also frozen drink options such as Frose and Frozen Blue Cotton Candy.
After the festive party, guests enjoyed a special edition of “Jackknife Comedy at the club to end the evening with smiles and laughter. That lineup featured Kari Burt, Dan Wilbur, Mara Wiles, Ismael Loutfi, Lizzy Cassidy, Ben Katzner, Alison Leiby, Jared Goldstein, Sam Morrison and the night’s emcee Gabe Pacheco.”
Slate also features arcade games, a ping pong table, a pool table, mini-bowling and even a slide from the lobby entrance to the downstairs space!
