Fat Joe was in great spirits for this interview, and even though he’s been doing a lot of press for this album release, he made sure to save some gems for this interview since he was able to be himself. He started off by telling Elliot that he felt that this album was the last thing left for him to do musically and it was the final piece of his puzzle since that’s his classic album. Joe had a lot of for the audience from his life and musical career that he learned from and made it possible for him to be successful in the music industry. Fat Joe was animated throughout the interview and was telling jokes throughout the interview that made the interview entertaining. Fat Joe brought out Dre from Cool and Dre to discuss how they made Family Ties and their relationship throughout their musical journey. Joe has had an impact on a lot of artists throughout his career and helped many of the biggest artists in the game such as DJ Khaled, Remy Ma and Rick Ross.
Fat Joe is content with his career and is ready to retire on top. After being in the industry for over 25 years and having a successful career and being at peace with his decision, Fat Joe’s ready for retirement. His presence will be missed, but he’s looking forward to what his next journey is going to be, and he has artists in the industry that he’s still going to be assisting.
