In a city where time is one of our greatest luxuries, Quiet Lux founder and CEO Lizzy Livne invited us to slow down at The Quiet Reset, an intimate wellness event hosted at Moss New York, a new luxury wellness and social club.
The afternoon combined relaxation, self-care, and a fresh perspective on the value of our time. We love the energy of New York. However, living in a city that never sleeps often means constantly rushing from one commitment to another. As a result, finding time to slow down can feel like a luxury.
That’s why Quiet Lux immediately caught our attention. The personal assistance membership helps people reclaim their time by managing everyday responsibilities. Founder and CEO Lizzy Livne created Quiet Lux after recognizing how much time people spend managing daily tasks. While major commitments demand attention, smaller responsibilities can quietly consume hours of our week.
For example, scheduling appointments, making reservations, coordinating returns, and finding gifts all require time. Eventually, these little tasks add up, leaving fewer opportunities to focus on what truly matters.
“I started Quiet Lux because I realized how much of our time gets eaten up by the little things required to keep life moving. It’s not necessarily one big task that overwhelms you. It’s the dozens of small decisions, follow-ups and logistics that accumulate throughout the week. I wanted to create a service where you could simply hand those things off to someone you trust and get that time back,” said Livne.

Through Quiet Lux, members gain access to a personal assistance service that essentially acts as a chief of staff for their personal lives. Instead of spending hours researching, scheduling, and coordinating, members can send one message and let the Quiet Lux team handle the details.
To introduce guests to the Quiet Lux philosophy, the brand hosted The Quiet Reset at Moss New York. The team chose Moss because its aesthetic complemented Quiet Lux’s approach to understated luxury. The setting offered a natural backdrop for an event centered on simplicity, relaxation, and thoughtful experiences.
Throughout the afternoon, guests enjoyed facials, massages, vitality pools, and lunch. More importantly, everyone had the opportunity to step away from the constant demands of everyday life. For those of us who always seem to have a million things going on, the idea of spending an afternoon focused on relaxation was especially appealing.
However, The Quiet Reset offered more than a traditional spa experience. While guests relaxed, Quiet Lux demonstrated its personal assistance service. Attendees could hand over lingering tasks and experience what it might feel like to have someone else manage their to-do lists.
We particularly appreciated how the event connected wellness with something we often overlook: the mental energy we spend organizing our lives. After all, self-care isn’t always about booking another facial or massage. Sometimes, it’s about removing a few responsibilities from your plate.

The membership service helps clients manage everything from everyday errands to more involved personal requests. Members can submit unlimited requests, allowing them to spend less time coordinating and more time focusing on what matters. Quiet Lux offers a $400 trial month, followed by a monthly membership of $550. An annual membership costs $6,000. While the service certainly falls into the luxury category, it also raises an interesting question. How much is your free time worth?
What stood out to us about The Quiet Reset wasn’t simply the spa treatments or the beautiful setting. Instead, it was the reminder that wellness extends beyond what we do for our bodies. Our mental well-being matters just as much.
In a city where everyone seems to be juggling multiple responsibilities, having someone take care of the little things can make a meaningful difference. Ultimately, The Quiet Reset encouraged guests to rethink how they spend their time.
