Backstage NYFW: Alice and Olivia X TRESemmé

On Monday, September 9th, Alice and Olivia by Stacey Bendet held her SS20′ NYFW presentation at Root Studios. Alice and Olivia’s SS20′ collection was packed with color and intricate embroidery. Alice and Oliva’s presentation style show had multiple staged displays with different colored themes. TRESemmé’s Global Stylist, Justine Marjan, used the color-themed room to inspire her to create three gorgeous NYFW looks.

Justine Marjan brought her hair embellishing and braided styles to the Alice and Olive SS20′ NYFW presentation. The large, brightly colored presentation with multiple displays was like walking into a fashion wonderland. Each display had a different color theme, Marjan used the lavender themed display to inspire her bohemian braided look with lavender accents. The models in the white themed room were given stunning pearl embellished french braids. Marjan’s third hairstyle was a sleek low ponytail accessorized with headbands, scarves, and scrunchies matching any of the nine displays.

Justine Marjan’s looks for Alice and Olivia are so creative and with a few TRESemmé products are entirely attainable. My favorite hairstyle of the three looks is the pearl braids. I love that Marjan turned simple and classic french braids into high fashion and glamour with a few pearls and some TRESemmé Compressed Micro-Mist Hair Spray. Marjan’s styling tip for us “To maintain the clean center part, use a TRESemmé Anti-Frizz Smoothing Sheet to pat down flyaways and add shine. For hair that’s prone to frizz and flyaways, add a few pumps of the TRESemmé Keratin Smooth Shine Serum.”

Stacey Bendet’s Alice and Olivia presentations are hectic and highly anticipated. The Alice and Olive SS20′ presentation was more of an experience than a presentation. Amongst the many guests walking through Root Studios was Stacey Bendet herself, hoping each installation for interviews and pictures. Celebrities like Sophia Richie, Paris Hilton, and Jessica Szohr were in attendance amongst the large crowd of guests in awe at each brightly colored installations.
