A delightful menu designed by Chef Roze Traore showcased his culinary talent surrounded by 24 of Kozo’s inspiring paintings. HexClad CEO/Co-founder Daniel Winer and Chef Roze dreamt up the collaboration on Winer’s Tribeca penthouse terrace several months ago.
The West Village gallery, Free Parking was the place to be for the art crowd. In attendance were legendary NY graffiti artist Futura, contemporary artist Mickalene Thomas, gallery owner and art car collector Larry Warsh, Eric Haze, Gabriella Khalil, Latham Thomas, Marcus Allen, Mohar Chaudhuri, Nick Rouner, Parker Harwood-Lemons, ShiLei McGurr, Quil Lemons, Ruba Abu-Nimah, and Zakari Kunakey, among others.
Dishes were prepared using the supreme portfolio of items from HexClad. The perfect balance is found with the company that balances beauty and functionality all in the name of elevating your kitchen game. More than cookware, it is a mission statement out to bring dynamic cooking to your home as it did on this whimsical evening.

The menu included Yellowfin Crudo (pickled daikon, nori dust, babeurre herb oil), Branzino (saffron beurre blanc, confit potatoes, black truffles), and poached pears (vanilla bean glaze, hibiscus, goat cheese) – all of which paired with Hennessy V.S.O.P, Hennessy X.O, and Hennessy Paradis (considered one of the house’s most prestigious and luxurious cognacs), respectively.

At the heart of the exhibition is a 1965 Ford Mustang Coupe, painted at Red Hook Detail Co., across which Kozo has meticulously rendered François Lemoyne’s The Apotheosis of Hercules — the celebrated ceiling of the Salon d’Hercule at Versailles.
On view from until May 24, Permanent Impermanence marks Kozo’s most ambitious exhibition to date, featuring painting, mixed media works, and a monumental automotive centerpiece at the West Village gallery space.
