On this autumn day, attendees walked away with crisp inspiration that matched the whimsical Big Apple air outside of the famed venue. The likes of industry insiders, trailblazing leaders and even Oscar winners made the momentous occasion an spirited soirée. A lineup included: Phil Lord & Chris Miller as keynote speakers giving a play by play into the magic behind Project Hail Mary and how films work with collaboration, rewriting, and making big studio films that still feel personal; a deeply insightful panel with agents and managers Kailey Marsh, Mary Pender, Craig Gering, and Maria Miles moderating; a thrilling and thoughtful television showrunners panel with Soo Hugh, Sam Esmail, Meredith Scardino, and Brett Niethamer; and a divine feature screenwriters panel with Academy Award winners John Patrick, Kenneth Lonergan, Alexander Dinelaris, and Geoffrey Fletcher.
An elevated space where writers can learn, network, and amped up, the day and all the programming that surrounds Storytelling360 is worthy of the loudest standing ovation.
