Chic Sketch 2.0 Kicks Off Fashion Week with New Tagging and Time-Lapse Features
With bubbly drink in hand, I watched as a very poised model-looking woman raised her eyes every couple of seconds to look at me from head-to-toe. In less than ten minutes, like magic, she turned her ipad around and showed me a lovely sketched version of myself. It had more elongated legs, my poppy red lips and every piece of my outfit. Somehow she managed to make my puffy coat, oversized turtle neck, and comfy white Adidas into a celebrity street style look.

On Tuesday February 9th, it was delightful to experience the new, revamped Chic Sketch 2.0. This is a mobile app that converts your photos into hand-drawn, fashion sketches by real illustrators in a matter of minutes, which I experienced firsthand.
The cool thing about the new version is that you can tag the brands of your outfits that you share, so others can keep up with your latest trends. It also includes a fashion sketch video, which allows users to view a time-lapse of their sketches as they come to life. It is entertaining to see the progress of the drawing, and finally having that personalized little work of art of yourself.
Since its launch one year ago, Chic Sketch has been a huge success, which has in result grown its user base worldwide. The fashionable app has collaborated by sketching live at exclusive events for Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdales, Furla, Longchamp and Sephora.
