TIDAL took over theatre eight in iPic Fulton Street Market for a super low-key screening of A Boogie’s three part documentary A Boogie vs. Artist. Clips of tour bus banter, sound checks, and exchanges with his fans depicted a honest picture of the Bronx native’s journey with fame; also showing how he balances his career and fatherhood.
With special appearances from Lil Baby, Queen Naija, his daughter Melody, and more; fans get a peak of the rappers life during his A Boogie vs. Artist tour throughout the states. The documentary was released on TIDAL last night at 8 p.m. while A Boogie and co. watched on the big screen, sharing the experience with a few TIDAL members.
As shown in the documentary, the work never stops which proved itself to be true when A Boogie told the audience he’d be heading straight to the studio after the screening to put some finishing touches on his next album, Artist 2.0. “It’s 100 percent better than Hoodie Season,” he said. He continued, “The music gets better every time, I don’t know what’s going on,” he added with a chuckle.
Be on the look out for Artist 2.0 and head over to TIDAL to watch the documentary for more insight into the rappers life than an Instagram or Snapchat story could show.
