Oreo woke up the Kixby Hotel Black Tap’s private lounge last week with its newest cookie launch.
The Oct. 28 After Dark party gave guests a first taste of Espresso Creme-flavored Oreo Thins, which will be launched exclusively online for a limited time. Black Tap incorporated this bold, sweet flavor into its signature desserts, serving up Espresso Creme milkshakes and CrazySundaes. Black Tap will be serving the limited-edition Espresso Creme Classic Shake at its Midtown flagship restaurant until Nov. 4.
In addition to ice cream treats, guests snacked at a cookie cart and dessert bar and got a fix of some classic Black Tap appetizers, including sliders and fries. To honor the new flavor, espresso martini mocktails were served at the bar, accessorized with customizable martini charms featuring the iconic Oreo cookie design.

Special guests from Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Rhode Island came out to celebrate with Black Tap owner Christopher Barish and New York City hospitality leader and partner Richie Romero. Housewives included guest DJ Rosie DiMare and her husband Rich, Jo-Ellen Tiberi, her husband Gary and Ashley Iaconetti, who is also a member of Bachelor Nation. Summer House’s Stephen McGee and Jason Cameron and Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea hosts Evan Real and Danny Murphy were also in attendance.
