NYLON made its Miami Race Week debut in style, closing out the weekend on May 1 with a two-night residency at Mary Lou’s inside the W Hotel South Beach, presented by MINI USA.
By the time Friday night hit its stride, the room had filled wall to wall. Race Week energy has a way of pulling everyone into the same orbit, and Mary Lou’s was no exception. Influencers, models, actresses, and a healthy mix of entertainment figures moved through the space as Disco Dom Brsesky held things down behind the decks, keeping the crowd locked in well past midnight. Thursday night had set the tone with sets from Rae Sada and LP Giobbi, and by Friday the energy had only built from there. Complimentary cocktails kept the evening moving, and a mix of indoor and outdoor activations, photo moments, and carpets gave the night a texture that felt less like a sponsored event and more like the place everyone wanted to be.

MINI USA made a statement before guests even walked through the door, showcasing several of their newest vehicles outside the venue in a display that turned the arrival into an experience of its own. Inside, the race theme carried through with track-inspired bites and co-branded racing jackets that guests threw on and kept. Bio-Oil rounded out the sponsor presence with a pit stop activation, sending guests home with curated bags stocked with their signature skincare oil.
The guest list read like a who’s who of the moment. Alix Earle, , Jenn Tran, Draymond Green, Charly Jordan, Becca Tilley, Myles O’Neal, Carter Gregory, Sally Carden, Dale Moss, Lucy Guo, and Hayley Kiyoko were among those who turned out for the evening, with the energy in the room reflecting just how dialed in NYLON’s community has become.

It is worth noting that this was not a one-off moment for the brand. NYLON has been quietly building a footprint across some of the country’s most culturally significant weekends. From New York Fashion Week to Art Basel right here in Miami last December, and NYLON House at Coachella earlier this spring, the brand has made a habit of showing up where culture is moving and making the room feel like theirs. The Race Week residency is the latest chapter in that story.

Mary Lou’s reopened this year inside the W Hotel South Beach, transforming the property’s former club space into a stunning new venue that has quickly become one of the city’s most talked about rooms. For a brand that has made IRL experiences a cornerstone of what it is building, the residency was exactly that: a room full of the right people, a DJ who kept it going, and an energy that Race Week tends to bring out in Miami like nowhere else.
