There really isn’t a burger better than a McDonald’s Big Mac, if you ask me. It’s one of the top 5 reason’s why I can never go vegan, but I’m not complaining. That special sauce over the two beef patty burgers on a sesame seed bun is nostalgic, and from time to time, I pull right into the drive-thru; and you can thank the Big Mac For That.
Out Thursday night at new LA hotspot The Peppermint Club located in Hollywood, food chain giant McDonald’s celebrated the year’s best in music and launch of two new Grand Mac and Mac Jr. sandwiches at their Big Mac ‘Year in Music’ party during Grammy week. So whatever your preference, there’s a #BigMacForThat.

I’ve never been to a party like this before, with endless servings of all three versions of the Big Mac (the classic, Grand Mac, Mac Jr), and those famous french fries at your beckon call, not to mention a whole menu of cocktails and specialty drinks, you almost forget the actual kicker is headliner DJ Khaled who hit the stage in energetic Khaled-fashion & DJ Balthazar Getty on the 1s & 2s; not to mention, the flock of notable celebs such as Kelly Rowland, Jaime King, OITNB’s Taryn Manning, Robert Graham (The Bachelorette) and more. Oh, and I definitely bumped into a bunch of the guys from the BET biopic The New Edition Story on the way out; they were all there snapping it up and taking selfies with partygoers. It was definitely a night to remember.
And if you’re someone like me always trying to cut the calories and junk food, but still haven’t been able to avoid the totally guilty pleasures of eating one of these undeniable delicious burgers at least once or twice a quarter, I’m telling you, they have a #BigMacForThat. For a limited time, in addition to the iconic Big Mac size, if you’re extra hungry there’s the double cheesy, extra beefy Grand Mac, and for those smaller cravings try the Mac Jr. with one seared patty and two buns instead of three.
Following last week’s initial launch event with rapper Desiigner and songstress Justine Skye hitting the stage, and another slew of cool celebs like Mario Lopez, Olivia Culpo, EJ Johnson, just to name a few. Who doesn’t love a Big Mac!
In the days leading to the live taping of the 59th Annual Grammy Award show this Sunday, a grammy nominated DJ Khaled hit the stage and had the crowd going wild; one hand in the air to “All I Do Is Win, Win, Win No Matter What”, and a Big Mac in the other hand. Doing the milly-rock alongside Taryn Manning and Drake’s papi, Dennis Graham, who also happened to be in the building, it was a Big Mac lituation.
