Celebrities Attend Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day in NYC

Margot Robbie and Jake Gyllenhaal lead the list of stars who came out to commemorate the lives lost in 9/11.

Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners hosted the annual Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day took place in New York City on September 11th to commemorate the 658 Cantor Fitzgerald employees and 61 Euro Brokers employees lost in the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11. Dozens of charities, from Big Brothers Big Sisters to the MLB Players Trust, took part in this wonderful and charitable cause. All of these charities along with their celebrity ambassadors came out to support the event.

The list of celebrity ambassadors includes Margot Robbie, Jake Gyllenhaal, Alex Rodriguez, Lily Aldridge, Louis C.K., Christy Turlington Burns, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Eric Decker, Steve Buscemi, Joel Edgerton and more. They got together with brokers from New York and other cities around the world to conduct transactions with Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC clients, with 100% of revenues from the day going to the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund as well as charities around the world. The event was a big success with approximately 12 million dollars being raised. To date, Charity Day has raised approximately 125 million dollars globally.
