On Tuesday, March 17, the cast and creative minds behind The Drama gathered at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles for a premiere that felt as layered and intriguing as the film itself. Hosted by A24, the evening brought together a dynamic mix of filmmakers, musicians, and tastemakers, all eager to celebrate one of the year’s most talked about releases. Notable attendees included filmmakers like Denis Villeneuve, Barry Jenkins, and Lulu Wang, alongside artists such as Tove Lo, Kehlani, PinkPantheress, and Rico Nasty. Actors including Suki Waterhouse, Chris Perfetti, and Ryan Destiny added to the eclectic mix, making it clear that The Drama had captured the attention of Hollywood’s creative elite.
Inside the theater, anticipation was palpable. Following the screening, conversations buzzed with praise for the film’s unpredictability and the undeniable chemistry between Zendaya and Pattinson — a pairing that anchors the film’s emotional core while keeping audiences on edge.
But the night was far from over.

The celebration continued at the iconic Chateau Marmont, where the after party transformed into a surreal, wedding-inspired dreamscape that echoed the film’s themes of love and illusion. Upon entry, guests were greeted by a towering champagne display and an intricately designed wedding cake, immediately setting a romantic yet slightly tongue-in-cheek tone. Signature cocktails including “Cupid’s Kiss,” “The Confession,” and “Till Death Do Us Part” kept the theme alive, while two elaborately decorated hotel suites invited guests to step into “Bride” and “Groom” fantasy worlds, complete with robes, veils, and perfectly curated photo moments. At the heart of the party, a pool blanketed in rose petals served as a striking visual centerpiece, while outside, a vintage white car adorned with a “Just Married” sign became one of the evening’s most Instagram worthy backdrops. Much like the film itself, the evening was equal parts romance, spectacle, and subversion. An immersive experience that blurred the line between celebration and performance.
