From 0-100 issues. I wouldn’t say real quick, but what an accomplishment! Fader magazine has covered the important people in the music industry from Snoop Dogg, Aaliyah and Solange to Popcaan, King Krule, Yelawolf, and Haim. Why not celebrate?
On November 16th at Up and Down in the city, Fader Magazine held there 100th Magazine release party.
The night consisted of good DJ sets and meeting awesome people. The 100th issue features a double cover of either Drake or Rihanna. Giving us the best of both worlds, this issue gives us a sneak peak into both artists’ lives, from Drake cheering on Serena to Rihanna’s diaper wearing fans, and her journey “Home”. In addition to Drake and Rihanna in this issue, we also get to catch up with T-pain, Rick Rubin, Joanna Newsom, and Lauryn Hill.

There were two floors to hang out on with two different DJ sets. The lower level was dim with lights on the roof that looked like decorative string lights, a white and black stripped floor, and of course magazines on the tables. The upper level had wooden floors, well lit, and packed with The Fader music group’s artists. So all of us toasted to 100 issues with the drink menu consisting of: The Fader, BLT, 0-100, and the Fader Sprite.
