The Flight Attendant is returning for season 2 on HBO Max, premiering on April 21.
This season will focus on Cassie Bowden, played by Kaley Cuoco, trying to maintain a life of sobriety. As the series progresses, Cassie is continuously tested and pushed to the limit, which causes her to crave alcohol to cope. Since moving to Los Angeles, Cassie continues to work as a flight attendant and moonlights as a CIA asset in her spare time. During an overseas assignment, she witnesses a murder and becomes entangled in another international intrigue. Her seemingly perfect life begins to fade as the pressure from the job and refining from a relapse cause her to make choices that affect her relationship with herself and others.
This season new cast members will be joining the show, such as Mo McRae, Callie Hernandez, and JJ Soria, who are the new series regulars. As well as new recurring guest stars Alanna Ubach, Cheryl Hines, Jessie Ennis, Mae Martin, Margaret Cho, Santiago Cabrera, Sharon Stone, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. This season fans and viewers will get a deeper understanding of each character as the season develops.
