Tia Mowry Partners With Laura Geller Beauty for New Cream Full Face Palette Launch

by Branda Ayo March 3, 2026
written by Branda Ayo

After more than two decades of perfecting its cult-favorite baked formulas, Laura Geller Beauty is officially entering a new chapter. The New York-based brand has launched the Best of the Best Cream Full Face Basics Palette alongside its playful, social-first Just Add Cream campaign, a cozy, kitchen-inspired series spotlighting more than 70 celebrities and creators over 40. The expansion marks Laura Geller Beauty’s first major step into cream formulas, designed specifically with women 40+ in mind, prioritizing hydration, comfort, and natural-looking radiance.

At the heart of the campaign is actor and entrepreneur Tia Mowry, who describes the partnership as deeply aligned with her current chapter. In our conversation, Mowry emphasized how meaningful it is to collaborate with a brand that intentionally celebrates women over 40 and creates products that enhance rather than mask who they are. The all-in-one compact includes cream eyeshadows, lip creams, highlighter, blush, and bronzer, along with dual mirrors for ease of use. But beyond functionality, the message is simple. Aging is not something to correct but something to embrace.

Below, The Knockturnal speaks with Tia Mowry about aging with intention, finding your signature look, and why “just adding cream” might be the easiest beauty shift yet.

The Knockturnal:

I really like the kitchen concept. It aligns really well with the lifestyle content you’ve been incorporating on social media. I’d love to know what excited you most about partnering with Laura Geller Beauty for this launch.

Tia Mowry:

I love that Laura Geller Beauty is one of the few major brands that caters to women over 40. When I think about my daily beauty routine, I’m looking for hydration, radiance, and glow, and that’s definitely something they prioritize.

That’s one of the main reasons I loved partnering with Laura Geller. But not only that, they’re all about making your beauty routine practical, easy, and fun. You mentioned the kitchen concept. When I think about the kitchen, whether it’s me cooking or just hanging out with my family and friends, it’s all about having a great time.

That’s what this palette feels like. It’s about practicality and just having fun while making things simple.

The Knockturnal:

Laura Geller Beauty has been around for over 20 years, and the beauty industry has changed so much in that time. What do you think women misunderstand about beauty as they age?

Tia Mowry:

For me, when I think about aging, it’s all about embracing the process. When I think about my gray hairs or just maturing as a woman, I see it as a blessing.

I’m happy to be here, alive and well. I was actually talking to a friend recently about getting glasses. Some people see it as an annoyance, but it’s really just a part of maturing. Getting older is a blessing. That’s another thing I love about Laura Geller Beauty. It’s all about embracing that process.

The Knockturnal:

I love that perspective. What advice would you give younger women about finding their signature look?

Tia Mowry:

Do whatever makes you feel positive about yourself. Of course, there are always trends out there, but follow whatever makes you feel beautiful. Follow whatever makes you feel confident and bold. If that’s a red lip, wear a red lip. If it’s a natural glow, then embrace that natural glow. Just be unapologetically you. That’s what I would say. You are unique.

The Knockturnal:

You’ve played so many different characters throughout your career, from Sister Sister to The Game to Family Reunion. Has stepping into those different roles influenced how you experiment with beauty?

Tia Mowry:

I think for me, it’s always been about showing up as myself. One story that comes to mind is from the show Sister, Sister. I was a young Black girl with curly hair, and at the time, that wasn’t always seen or celebrated. However, I remained true to myself. I thought, you know what? This is who I am. I moved with confidence and hoped that would inspire others to do the same.

Even with Family Reunion, I hadn’t worn my hair curly in a long time since Sister, Sister. I asked the producer if I could wear my natural curls again, and they were supportive of it. One season, I even cut my hair. So when I think about beauty, it’s really about being unapologetically yourself and embracing who you are.

The Knockturnal:

When you tried the Best of the Best Cream Face Palette, was there a specific feature that surprised you?

Tia Mowry:

What I love about the palette is that it’s truly an all-in-one process. It has a step-by-step approach that makes everything simple. I really love all of it. The eyeshadows are beautiful, the highlighter is amazing, I love a good glow, and the cream lip products were fantastic.

But it also had two mirrors in one palette, which I hadn’t seen before. Overall, I think the whole thing is genius. It’s creative, easy, practical, and fun. What I especially love is that when I’m looking for an everyday makeup routine, I want it to feel natural. I still want to look like myself. This palette gives you that natural shine and glow while still helping you feel confident.

The Knockturnal:

What do you hope women take away from this campaign when they see it?

Tia Mowry:

I hope they take away the importance of embracing themselves and embracing their natural beauty. Additionally, it’s crucial to enjoy the process. When you add a sense of fun to whatever you’re doing, it creates a beautiful intention for your day, an intention for where you want to go and how you want to feel.

So it’s really about being unapologetically yourself, having fun, feeling good, and looking good.
