Miami was on fire all weekend long with Super Bowl festivities in full swing. The iconic rum brand BACARDÍ threw an epic day-ger that continued into the late afternoon on Saturday. Although the Miami Kimpton Surfcomber Hotel made the perfect backdrop for the Caribbean inspired fiesta, the weather was trying to rain on everybody’s parade.
Bacardi
BACARDÍ returns to the Big Apple launching their second iteration of Rum Room event series, curated by 3 x GRAMMY nominated singer/songwriter Jhene Aiko.
BACARDÍ has created Rum Room, a five-city event series that is open to the public and allows guests to experience various “rooms” curated specifically for each of their three premium rums: BACARDÍ Añejo Cuatro, BACARDÍ Reserva Ocho and BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Diez.
Bacardí’s happy hour at Las’ Lap held last Thursday evening invited guests to spend an evening on a hip, tropical, Halloween island vacation.
A humid New York City was transformed into a tropical paradise to celebrate National Rum Day on August 16th with the help of Bacardi at Las’ Lap in the Lower East Side.
Finally, after another long year of waiting, Gov Ball 2019 was back, and people were in flocks, ready to go! After some uncertainty with the weather, Friday turned out to be nothing short of amazing, with the beautiful summer day for festival goers. While some ran from stage to stage, others laid back and relaxed at the Bacardi VIP section right next to the star-studded Bacardi Stage.
On the Scene: BACARDÍ Neon Brunch
Bacardí took over the Moxy Hotels Magic Hour Rooftop Bar for a boozy, neon brunch celebrating the rums new flavor, BACARDÍ Lime. The neon brunch took place on April 26 and despite the rain, attendees flooded the rooftop sporting neon yellows, greens, and pinks as DJ Amrit provided all the latest dance tunes.
Festival season has officially kicked off and will rapidly kick into full gear as we get closer to summer.

The Dean Collection collaborated with Bacardi to present the Rum Room, a fusion of music, art and mixology.
The Dean Collection wanted to celebrate local photographers from New York with different perspectives of their communities. Photographers that were chosen to display their art work had to concentrate on one of the these three categories: CUATRO, OCHO or DIEZ. The art pieces chosen for CUATRO were meant to evoke the spirit of color, dynamism and movement. Art pieces chosen for OCHO are meant to evoke the the spirit of aged, tradition and warmth. The pieces chosen for DIEZ are meant to evoke the spirit of history, architecture and legacy. All of the categories had different forms of photography varying from portraits to landscape photography. The Dean Collection and Swizz Beatz were able to choose from the thousands of entries and picked the pieces that best fit those three categories.
Swizz Beatz was also in attendance to meet the photographers in person who’s pieces were on display. Swizz was in great spirits, taking photos with many of the artists that were selected and talking to some of them about their pieces. He also had an hour long DJ set for the crowd which included some of Swizz’s produced beats and current popular songs as well. Swizz decided to give some advice to the creatives in the room, and told them to focus on their craft but learn great business practices in their fields so they are able to be paid what they deserve for their work.
