This Thursday Rémy Martin along with Chef Marc Forgione celebrated National Cognac Day and congratulated ‘Circle Of Centaurs’ winner Jermaine Wright at his restaurant in Tribeca. The ‘Circle of Centaurs’ is an initiative Rémy has created that allows influential people in various industries to act as mentors to selected participants to help them to pursue their creative passion.
Marc started off the night with an opening toast:
I wanted to say thank you so much Rémy Martin for coming; thank you so much for the DJ that’s spinning and thank you so much to Jermaine- just so you know there were thousands of people that put in their dishes. We whittled that down to about 20 and then that got whittled down to about 10. We actually tasted the 10 and Jermaine’s was the one that beat them all so from Rémy, from myself- this is yours from the help of everyone around we are going to finish this tonight. Congratulations, thank you everybody and have fun tonight, cheers!
Also in attendance were multiple celebrity guests including Empire star Joseph Sikora, British artist Shantell Martin, Australian Supermodel Shanina Shaik, Fashion Designer Carlos Campos, Singer Eyme Santos, and DJ’s Vashtie Kola and Kitty Cash.
In celebration with National Cognac Day traditional Rémy Martin sidecar cocktails were served such as Dusk To Dawn (available at Employees Only in NYC), #ThatsWhatILike (available at the Bassment in Chicago), and The Outfit (available at Bar Clacson in Los Angeles). Marc Forgione served fan favorite menu items such as the burger, steak on toast, chili lobster skewers, hiramsa spoons, and Jermaine Wright served his award winning jerked stewed pork recipe. It was not a night to be missed.
