Producing more than vodka from French wheat, Grey Goose brought Polaroids and their “joie de vivre” to create memories and community at NYC’s ninth Culture Con on October 3 and 4.
Still on a high from the release of their newest flavor, Berry Rouge, Grey Goose kept the drinks flowing and brought Culture Con’s “Museum of Us” theme to fruition with a museum cafe activation where attendees were able to take and hang Polaroids to be displayed as they waited to try one of two Berry Rouge based cocktails: “Berry Blossom” and “Berry Sonic.”
While enjoying the latter to Ja Rule’s “Livin It Up,”Grey Goose’s Culture and Lifestyle Curator, Jhordan Gibbs filled The Knockturnal in on what makes Berry Rouge special. “You have your blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries,” Gibbs explained in between sips. “It’s super refreshing and there’s no additives.”
One of about 15 activations, and the drink of choice for the Culture Con VIP lounge, Gibbs expressed the importance of being the official spirit partner for this collective of almost 12,000 creatives and entrepreneurs. “We chose Culture Con because it’s black owned, one,” Gibbs admitted. “If you look around there are so many styles, so many expressions, so many flavors and that mirrors the creative flow of what Grey Goose Berry Rouge is about.”
From panels with agencies such as WME, to conversations with Aaron Pierre, Olandria Carthen, Michael B. Jordan and more; Grey Goose had a large part in fostering a welcoming environment where conversation flowed easily, collaboration was encouraged and new beginnings were celebrated.
