After 36 years, Georgia-born Zaxbys has opened their first two New York City locations. Zaxbys, is famously known for their Famous Fingerz™, 12 signature sauces which include signature Zax Sauce®, Spicy Zax Sauce®, Tongue Torch®, and Nuclear™, as well as an expansive menu of craveable menu items.
The New York locations opened in The Bronx and in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. To celebrate its New York debut, Zaxbys has hosted a series of events throughout the city this summer and fall, including most recently at Houston Hall to introduce the brand to local communities and build excitement around its arrival.
Upon arrival at the tasting event at New York City’s Houston Hall, guest were able to try various menu items including the Famous Fingerz such as quesadilla and chicken sandwich, chicken wings, cheesecake bites with strawberry jam dipping sauce and a selection of cocktails in which the Peach State Margarita included Zaxbys peach purée.

Zaxbys was founded in 1990 with the first location in Statesboro, Georgia. The concept was original – a restaurant where Chicken Fingerz weren’t just a side item, but the star of the menu. Over the last almost four decades, Zaxbys has opened more than a 1,000 locations across the United States and continues to expand.
