This spring season, Linecity premiered the 2022 New York City Real Estate Video Awards Show.Β The event took place at the Crosby Street Hotel in Soho, on May 2. Many of the cityβs most gifted and creative agents were in attendance.
The awards show honored the brilliance of those agents who have used the video medium to propel their real estate careers. These videos take the art of property marketing and brand development to a higher ground.
The goal was to recognize the best and the brightest innovators in the industry, agents who have inspired the entire real estate space.
Being that New York is a destination point for young performers, it is not surprising that many of the show’s participants started their professional careers in the theater. Real estate, once a side hustle, morphed into a full-time career.
βAt the end of the day, we have actually pulled this off,” said Jonathan Greenspan, the president of Linecity.Β βWhen we came up with the idea, no one knew what would be involved.Β It literally took a village.Β We called and the community answered.β
Linecity is a public listing portal for residential properties in NYC.Β It is a sister company to On-Line Residential, the business-to-business listing platform that serves the NYC residential market.Β On-Line Residential, aka OLR, has been providing the leading platform for the residential community for 27 years.Β βLinecity is the natural progression of our business,β comments Greenspan.Β βNo one knows data better than OLR.Β Our clients have pleaded with us to build a public platform to compete with Street Easy.Β We believe that Linecity serves this aim.β
βThe idea for an awards show was conceived during the early stages of the pandemic,β notes Greenspan.Β βWe started watching videos promoting residential properties and just couldnβt stop. Each one was better than the last.Β We felt that these very talented and creative people should be rewarded for their efforts.
Actress and comedian Cristina Cote co-hosted the show with Greenspan.Β Cote is a seasoned performer and has played the comedy circuit in NYC. She and her mom, Victoria Terri-Cote are co-principals of Cote Luxury Real Estate.
βWeβre very proud of the show,β commented Greenspan, βIt took more than a year to produce.Β Remember, this is a first and weβre not a production company.Β We learned as we moved the show forward.Β Frankly, I can’t wait to start on next yearβs event.β
