Extra kicked off its first annual “Weekend Of | Lounge” Emmy event with big celebrity names at The London West Hollywood.
Extra Hosts Mario Lopez and Tracey Edmonds with Extra Correspondents Renee Bargh and Terri Seymour were joined by actors and musicians including Jane Lynch, Samuel L. Jackson, Gina Rodriguez, Matt LeBlanc (who was spotted sipping on Rum Diplomático), Felicity Huffman, Taryn Manning, Laverne Cox, Zendaya, Jamie Pressly, Rico Rodriguez, Alan Cummings, Adrienne Bailon, Anthony Anderson, Beau Bridges, Candis Cayne, Chris Daughtry, Colman Domingo, Cornelius Smith Jr., Dascha Polanco, Constance Zimmer, Jordan Peele, Zachary Levi, Thomas Middleditch, Dennis O’Hare, Finn Wittrock, Katherine Schwarzenegger, Khandi Alexander, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Max Martini, Michael Kenneth Williams, Rachel Melvin, Tony Hale, Lea DeLaria, Richard Cabral, and more.
Burgeoning actor-dancer Zendaya stole the show. There was no “Bad Blood” to be found—the young star bounced around from vendor to vendor dressed in what she called her “uniform,” a leather Urban Outfitters jacket, plain white tee, faded jeans and Chanel sneakers.
Golden Globe winner Gina Rodriguez was dressed to the nines in a black-embellished dress, but that didn’t stop her from climbing onto the Simmons Beautyrest mattress.
Actress Jane Lynch was in top form. She played a game of gigantic jenga set up by Centrum VitaMints, brand new healthy little popped pills you eat like a mint. Who doesn’t love Jane Lynch?
The event had an air of campy silliness. Orange is the New Black star Laverne Cox stopped by Cottonelle to have her glutes sketched—you read that right—by a self-proclaimed professional butt drawer. His name was Krandal Newt, and he is my favorite.
Emmy nominated Good Wife Actor Alan Cumming rode around on Hovertrax by Inventix, the ubiquitous two-wheeled boards taking over every mall and airport in the country. He also jumped on the jenga train, playing a solo game while laughing and scheming the whole way through.
New Balance made a significant donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation on behalf of the talent that stopped by. Celebrity VIPs also got to check out the latest offerings from Simmons Beautyrest, Luxe On-Demand Valet Parking, Hovertrax by Inventist, Jamberry, Sabra, WowWee, Le Mieux Skin Perfecter, Ultimate Ears, and Rum Diplomático.
