Imagine the most sinister unfolding of events within one series that you possibly can, and we can assure you that Amc+‘s new series Ragdoll will have it beat. Following the events that occur when six people have been murdured in a london flat and are found to have been dismembered and sewn into the shape of one grotesque body, nicknamed the ‘Ragdoll.’ This is a case unlike anyone has ever seen before, especially once the Ragdoll is found suspended from the ceiling of a flat. A team is assembled to get to the bottom of who is behind all of this, made up of the newly reinstated DS Nathan Rose, his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter, and the unit’s newest recruit, DC Lake Edmunds. The thriller captures the longstanding effects of trauma that so many people face on day to day basis, and opens up so many important conversations within its thrilling and horrific source material. It’s an edge of your seat type of thriller that many viewers will love. The cast is made up of Henry Lloyd-Hughes (The Irregulars, Killing Eve), Thalissa Teixeira (Too Close, The Musketeers) and Lucy Hale (The Hating Game, Pretty Little Liars), and the three work together to create an immersive and incredible television experience We sat down with Lucy, Thaliasa and Henry to talk all about the series, check out the full conversation below!

There are few parts of life that come with more uncertainty, awkwardness, freedom, and triumph than being a girl in her freshman year of college. Through living with people you’ve never met before and navigating the fact that there’s an entire world outside of your comfort zone, it’s a time of triumph that comes with so much more to discover alongside. Mindy Kaling’s new HBO show depicts all of these struggles in such a lighthearted and hillarious way, that sums up the ever present message; it’s okay to have sex. The importance of this show is not lost on viewers, even through the hilarious plot lines and the charm that all of the characters carry within themselves. Starring Pauline Chalamet as Kimberly, Reneé Rapp as Leighton, Alyah Chanelle Scott as Whitney, and Amrit Kuar as Bela, the show centers around a group of four randomly assigned roommates that the incredibly prestigious Essex College. Each in their own little words, tje girls go on their own journeys throughout the course of tje series, and in turn they learn a whole lot about themselves. The girls could not be more different, and nothing that they envisioned about their college experience is going to plan, but Kaling (in partnership with writer Justin Noble) creates an incredible sense of both entertainment and relatability within their experiences. STARZ’S Powerbook II: Ghost is set to premiere their second season in a number of weeks. Picking up immediately after the cliffhanger from the previous season, we will now see how Tariq St. Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr.) will handle covering up the murder he committed.
That along with the other stories that we will see on Powerbook II: Ghost that will play out. This includes Davis MacLean (Method Man) and Cooper Saxe (Shane Johnson) forming an unlikely partnership, Monet (Mary J. Blige) trying to keep her family safe and together, Cane (Woody McClain) encountering a new character named Mecca, and much more. There is enough story, politics, violence, and crime that will be furthered explored on this upcoming season.
I recently got the chance to speak with the entire cast of Powerbook II: Ghost as they all dished out the details and what to expect for the upcoming season. I also spoke with executive producer Courtney A. Kemp as she provided details about the filming progress for the second season. Courtney A. Kemp also provided a small update of Powerbook IV: Force as that series will focus on Tommy Egan (Joseph Sikora).
