Nearly a decade after Showtime’s Dexter ended after a phenomenal 8 season run, serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) is back in the limited series New Blood.
America’s favorite serial killer is back on SHOWTIME®, as multiple Emmy® nominee Michael C. Hall returns in DEXTER®: NEW BLOOD. Set 10 years after Dexter went missing in the eye of Hurricane Laura, DEXTER®: NEW BLOOD finds him living under an assumed name in the fictional small town of Iron Lake, New York. Dexter may be embracing his new life, but in the wake of unexpected events in this close-knit community, his Dark Passenger inevitably beckons.
On Monday, November 1, 2021, The Knockturnal attended the world premiere hosted by SHOWTIME® for the special event series DEXTER®: NEW BLOOD. The red carpet and screening were held at Alice Tully Hall. For the first time, mega fans were invited to participate in a premiere screening event — which led to nothing but smiles among the masses as they watched their favorite stars on screen.
Alongside the carpet, guests were immersed into the world of Iron Lake. Their journey taking them from a small-town tourism office to the evergreen woods, Dexter’s cabin and Fred’s Fish and Game.
“Dexter show changed my life two times: a bunch of years ago when I started it and tonight,” said Executive Producer Clyde Phillips.

As for Alano Miller who plays Logan in the revival, he said he was looking forward to a “new take, new vibe, new energy, and New Blood,”—pun intended.
