Dom Pérignon took over the High Line Nine for Expressions of Harmony, an evening built around the unveiling of three vintages: Vintage 2017, Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2, and Rosé Vintage 2010.
The Chelsea art space was stripped to a chic and cool, all concrete, showroom with carefully placed fixtures highlighting Dom Pérignon bottles. Along the many rooms, Dom Pérignon signage glowed against stone textured walls, as if the evening was its own art gallery. Guests moved through the venue slow and curious, stopping to photograph the many installations, posing under the Dom Pérignon wall, and drifting towards the open bars. Notable attendees included Mark Ronson, Uma Thurman, François Arnaud, Martha Stewart, Alissia, Reika Alexander, Megan Lawless, Sofia Bryant, Luka Sabbat, LaQuan Smith, Pierce Abernathy, Tina Leung, and Laurie Anderson.
Martha Stewart, in floral green silk Balenciaga blouse and trousers, caught the eye of many guests and photographers alike. Heated rivalry star, François Arnaud, dressed in casual and monochrome black, mingled with friends and guests throughout the evening.

The evening was focused around three vintages shown together for the first time in the U.S., which Dom Pérignon says is a rare moment for the house. The larger public experience opened in New York this week following the opening night, before moving to Los Angeles later this month. The concept was laid out as a multisensory journey through sound, food, and champagne. Without any previews, the experience felt like a sequence of rooms and moments rather than one long formal presentation.
Vintage 2017 poured full and textural, opening with dried apricot and toasted hazelnut before settling into a smoky pull. Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2 felt richer, with honeysuckle and brioche then giving way to toasted almond and citrus. The Rosé Vintage 2010 was the night’s softest pour with delicate red fruit and almond that lingered well past the final glass.
A sound installation by Jonathan Weiss of Oswalds Mill Audio set the tone for Vintage 2017, while Vintage 2008 Plénitude 2 was paired with a culinary moment, and Rosé Vintage 2010 was tied to the most theatrical close of the experience. Reika Alexander, flying into New York for the occasion, brought dishes tied to the return of EN Japanese Brasserie, including the restaurant’s popular fried chicken. In sound, Dom Pérignon used audio to translate the forces behind the vintages into something physical. And in person, it filled the room with different moods, with each section having its own pulse.

Mark Ronson was the surprise highlight, dressed in a creme gray suit behind the decks. The evening then moved to a dance party with glasses and small groups gathered around. The late night energy pushed the dance atmosphere until the end of the event. Expressions of Harmony felt like an authentic New York party with extremely good champagne and company at the center of it.
