With Valentine’s Day right around, King has launched a whole new world in the Candy Crush Friends Saga called “Valentine’s Valley.”
Here, players will experience 20 lovey doves levels of candy crushing which they can navigate through using the Valentine’s themed map while wearing the new Nutcracker King of Hearts Costume.
In honor of the game’s new features, King collaborated with Dirt Candy, a trendy eatery in NYC known for their yummy vegetarian options. The result? Sweet N’ Solo dinners promoting “Me Time,” while asserting that being solo doesn’t equate to being sad. The dinner will be happening on Valentines Day, however, the sweet team threw a pre-dinner for press and a few celebrity guests on February 6th. Under the candy tree rooted in the corner of the restaurant stood an edible candy wall and tables filled with curated menus and iPads for guests to squeeze in a little Candy Crush practice between courses.
Amongst the crowd was DJ Vashtie on the ones and twos, as well as Riverdale’s Casey Cott who created quite the buzz. However, the Candy Crush inspired five-course tasting menu created the bigger buzz once everyone received word that a secret menu would be unlocked by passing levels in the game.
