Fitness influencer and author Andrea Leigh Rogers hosted a private workout class event on Wednesday morning, celebrating the launch of her book, โSmall Moves, Big Life.โ
The event was held at Maman cafe and bakery in New York City. Rogers energetically led the morning class herself. The class consisted of pilates-style moves that got the heart pumping and worked multiple muscle groups. She did an excellent job at keeping the workout upbeat and providing positive modifications for those who needed it! The class concluded with a cool down consisting of stretching and breath work.
After the workout, Rogers gave a brief overview of her book and her accompanying โdo the thingโ productivity journal. This led to a short Q&A where she talked openly about some of her struggles that led to writing this book. She also offered some advice on how to tackle life when it seems to get too out of control.
Rogers collaborated with Maman to create her Big Life Almond Matcha, which was presented to guests post Q&A. Accompanying the matcha were an assortment of breakfast items, including avocado toast, croissants, and yogurt with fix-ins.
Throughout the event, Rogers mingled with her guests, signing books and taking photos upon request. During her Q&A, Rogers said, โI think weโve confused busyness with productivity and purpose,โ explaining that she hopes her book is able to re-center those priorities for her readers.
