The 97th Academy Awards kicked off in a divine fashion when the night got elevated thanks to Tequila Don Julio.

Heading down for the golden evening, guests at the London West Hollywood found themselves taking a joyful ride with Don Julio as they found themselves in a lift that had magically turned into a speakeasy.

Curated by globally acclaimed mixologist Charles Joly and World’s Best Bar Handshake Speakeasy, folks in the elevator found themselves being served the remarkable Class Act signature cocktail. Sipping like a star in Hollywood, the mint-infused Tequila Don Julio 1942 mixed with fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and milk took the spotlight and tantalized the senses to soaring heights.

There was something so splendid about the concept that allowed for old-school Hollywood glamour perfectly blended with an innovative setting (which was also shared at other Los Angeles hotels including The Maybourne Beverly Hills and The Peninsula Beverly Hills over the weekend).
Scrumptious and stylish, the cocktail elevated you in an elevator and made you feel a part of the limelight magic of Tinseltown. It was a great way to kick off the celebration of Oscars and knowing it was the same drink shared later in the evening at the annual Governor’s Ball just added to the allure.

And they are pledging $500K to ongoing recovery and relief efforts for the LA community through the Tequila Don Julio Fund.
