The style icon partnered with Singaporean brand Castlery for a home collection that pairs soul and sensibility

Tan France has spent nearly a decade teaching people how to find their style. Now, he’s trading the dressing room for the living room with a Castlery collection designed to help you build a home that feels authentically yours.

Global furniture brand Castlery, known for its materiality and comfort-craftsmanship, credits cross-cultural influences as a driver of its design excellence. “Castlery was built in Singapore—a city that has always made something new from the meeting of many worlds,” says Castlery Co-Founder Declan Ee. Born from the belief that authentic design comes from integrating one’s full range of life experiences into a space that reflects your true self, the brand found a natural match in France.  “When we met Tan, we recognized that same story in him,” Ee continues, “This collection is what two outsiders, each at home between different worlds, made together. We wanted something more than just a celebrity figure; we went looking for someone whose life was the brief. Tan France is that person, and this collection is the proof.”

France has long been outspoken about his own journey with culture and identity. Raised in a Pakistani family in the United Kingdom before building a life and family in the United States, France embraces the nuance of holding multiple identities at once, channeling that intersectionality into a distinct point of view.

Over the 10 seasons and nearly 90 episodes he spent as Queer Eye’s resident fashion expert, France helped countless individuals find identity through wardrobe, championing the philosophy that your style should reflect who you are— and that dressing like your best self should be something fun. That individual-forward approach, paired with his keen eye for proportion, color, and silhouette, made for a seamless transition into home design. The result is a collection with both spunk and sensibility, designed to be mixed, layered, and adapted within any home.

The 18-piece collection spans living, dining, lighting, rugs, décor, and accessories. Materials run warm and tactile throughout: natural oak, travertine, hand-carved wood, and New Zealand upholstery. Nature-driven themes carry through the line, with a palette of earthy greens and golden oranges brought together by warm, natural oak. Scalloped arches recur across the pieces, a detail France cites as an intentional nod to both his South Asian and English heritage.

France’s playful charm is felt throughout the designs, with the charming Anika table lamp as the standout example. Made from colorful hand-blown glass, the lamp’s stacked, bell-like silhouette draws directly from South-Asian architectural forms- specifically the curved, scalloped shape of classic doorway arches. Available in three bold colorways (orange, jade, and, fittingly, tan), the piece offers an easy way to bring personality into a room without tipping into excess.

The collaborative process spanned 15 months, during which France worked closely with Castlery’s in-house design team. He frequently made the 22-hour journey to the brand’s home base in Singapore to see the collection take shape firsthand. There, conversations about how culture, memory, and personal history show up in the home carried the line from concept to final form, resulting in pieces with striking visual presence without losing sight of practicality.

“Living between cultures and countries has taught me that home isn’t just somewhere you live, it’s something you create, wherever you are,” France shares. “That was the heart of my collaboration with Castlery. I wanted to create pieces for the moments that bring a home to life, the table where everyone gathers, the sofa you sink into after a long day, the lamp you switch on when the house finally goes quiet. The beauty of a home is found in those everyday rituals, and I wanted this collection to celebrate them.”

Castlery is keeping the excitement alive this weekend with a one-time-only in-store event to celebrate the collection’s launch. Starting at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 8, the brand is inviting guests to get early access to the collection while sipping on complimentary chai—with some lucky attendees also getting a special appearance from France himself.  To learn more about the launch and browse the collection, visit Castlery’s website.
