The red carpet event for the highly anticipated film Piece by Piece took place in New York City, marking a monumental moment in film history as the first biopic to be animated entirely in LEGOs.
The film, five years in the making, brings together a powerhouse team of creatives, including Grammy-winning artist and producer Pharrell Williams, acclaimed director Morgan Neville, legendary music producer Teddy Riley, and rapper N.O.R.E.
During the red carpet interviews, Pharrell Williams and Morgan Neville reflected on the long journey that led to the film’s release. Pharrell, who is not only an executive producer but also a central figure in the story, shared that the project had been in development for half a decade. He emphasized how personal and meaningful the project is to him, particularly in its innovative approach to storytelling. Piece by Piece follows Pharrell’s life and career, charting his rise from a young music prodigy in Virginia Beach to becoming one of the most influential figures in music, fashion, and culture.
