On Monday, Tubi hosted a red carpet premiere for their new comedy series The Z-Suite at the Metrograph Theater. The night included a screening of the show’s first two episodes and a cocktail reception complete with themed eats, lively music and charm bracelets.
The Z-Suite follows advertising powerhouse Monica Marks (Lauren Graham) and her faithful assistant, Doug Garcia (Nico Santos). The two topple down the corporate ladder after producing a disastrous ad campaign, causing them to be replaced by the company’s Gen Z social media expert, Kriska Thompson (Madison Shamoun.) Comedic chaos ensues as Marks and Garcia attempt to get back on top while Thompson and her Gen Z navigate their new corporate careers.

The show’s stars — including Graham and Santos — attended the event and graced the red carpet.
Before the screening, Tubi CEO, Anjali Sud, told the audience that The Z-Suite tackles important topics like office politics, the disconnect between Gen Z and older generations and the struggles women face in the workplace.
The show’s creator, writer and showrunner Katie O’Brien also spoke, mentioning how much she enjoyed collaborating with Graham as an actor and a creative partner — Graham took an active role in The Z-Suite as one of the executive producers.
“This process was so fulfilling because of the people who were a part of it,” O’Brien said, gesturing to the cast.

After the screening, guests were invited to enjoy signature cocktails like the “Out of Office” and light bites, ranging from churros to burgers. The event partnered with BeadKraft to deliver a charm bracelet-making station, where guests could pick their favorite charms and watch BeadKraft jewelers bring their bracelet designs to life.
The event had an opportunity for attendees to create a fake employee lanyard featuring their name and headshot, complete with the logo of the fictional company featured in the show. Photographers took Polaroid pictures of guests, offering a fun souvenir of the memorable event.
The Z-Suite is set to premiere on Thursday, February 6th, exclusively on Tubi.
