Formerly known as HoodCelebrityy, Jamaican-born, Bronx-raised artist TINA is officially entering a new chapter with the release of her self-titled debut album, TINA.
The Knockturnal attended her album listening party, where the artist spoke with guests about her journey and her embrace of this new, more mature version of herself.
The project marks more than a new musical release. It represents a personal evolution for an artist who has spent years building a name by blending dancehall, reggae, hip-hop, and the energy of New York City.
TINA first gained attention through freestyle videos and social media before breaking through with songs including “Wine Pon It,” “Bum Pon It” and her signature anthem, “Walking Trophy.” The latter has surpassed 44 million Spotify streams and continues to find new life on social media.
Rather than distancing herself from her previous identity, TINA says this new era is about embracing her journey while introducing fans to the woman she has become.

The album reflects that evolution, bringing together her Jamaican roots, Bronx upbringing, and unapologetic approach to music and femininity.
For TINA, the transition is ultimately about growth.
The name may have changed, but the story continues.
With TINA, the artist is reclaiming her narrative, celebrating where she came from, and making it clear that this is only the beginning of her next era.
Her debut album, TINA, was officially released on August 19th and is available on various platforms.
