The Olympic flame has been blown out, and tennis is now back in New York City as the US Open has recently begun at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Queens, NY.

It was a beautiful evening to play tennis surrounded by the Hudson River.
The annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day powered by Net Generation celebrated the start of the U.S. Open with a full-day tennis and music festival for families on Saturday, August 24th. This year, for the first time courtesy of the USTA Foundation, general admission promenade seats for the concert were free of charge.

After demonstrations from Net Generation and National Junior Tennis League participants, the Radio Disney-hosted musical acts began, with leading talent like Ava Max, MAX, and Quinn XCII performing to a cheering audience.
With the US Open in full swing, Tennis is on the minds of New Yorkers. As the summer season comes to a close the need for indoor activities will start to grow.
It’s the 50th year of the US Open. The newly renovated Billie Jean King National Tennis Center is glowing as the clock passes six. Serena Williams and Rafael Nadal are both slated to play the first night of the tournament. American sweetheart Kelly Clarkson will perform shortly before their matches commence.
