We kicked off Grammy’s weekend at Warner’s annual Grammy kickoff celebration at Citizen News in Los Angeles, CA. Casamigos joined Warner Music Group for their star-studded night and served three specialty cocktails named Picante Margarita, Casa Paloma, and Smoky Strawberry Smash. First we tried the Picante Margarita, which consisted of Casamigos Blanco, Fresh Lime, Amaro Angeleno, Fresno Chili, and Agave. After tasting the Picante Margarita we moved on to the Casa Paloma. This refreshing drink consisted of Casamigos Reposado Tequila, Fresh Lime, Fresh Grapefruit, Grapefruit Soda, and Agave. Last but not least, were the Smoky Strawberry Smash cocktails, This was made with Casamigos Blanco Tequila, Casamigos Mezcal, Fresh Lime, Strawberry, Basil, and Black Pepper. All drinks were crafted to perfection enough to leave guests wanting more.
This annual celebration is held in honor of their Grammy-nominated artists. This year they were celebrating artists like Burna Boy, Janelle Monáe, Ed Sheeran, Zach Bryan, Lil Uzi Vert, 21 Savage, and more. There was also a great DJ Set by Manna and Lee Estelle of House of 73 which amplified the vibes of the night. Along with the DJ set, there were also live performances by the super-talented Charli XCX and Teddy Swims. At the Canva photo lounge, guests were delighted to share fun and frocklicking, high quality motion video on their social media feeds.
Overall the celebration was filled with music, networking, and perfectly crafted cocktails from the Casamigos. It was such a great way to kick off Grammys weekend and we’re looking forward to the next one.

Here are some Super Bowl cocktails to drink no matter who’s winning. The Mezcal Michelada is a perfect game day drink to go along with your tailgating or super bowl party festivities. The C & C Old Fashioned is great to sit and sip on while you enjoy the game. The Cristalino Espresso Martini will keep the energy alive for the halftime dance party and keep you up for the second half.
MEZCAL MICHELADA
Ingredients
1 oz. Casamigos Mezcal
1 oz. Fresh Tomato Juice
.5 oz. Fresh Lime Juice
.25 oz. Worcestershire Sauce
½ Thick Rim Equal Parts Salt/Sugar/Tajin
Top off with Mexican Beer
Garnish with Large Ice Block infused with Serrano/Dill/Pickle Juice and Dehydrated Lime Wheel
Instructions
Wet ½ rim of pint glass with lime wedge or wheel, then dip in salt/sugar/tajin mixture. Combine all ingredients, except Mexican beer, into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into rimmed pint glass. Top off with beer, add a large infused ice block and garnish.
*To create Infused Ice Blocks / Makes 1L – Blend 1 to 2 serrano peppers (depending on spice – all vary), 2 oz dried dill, 3 cups pickle juice and 1 cup water in a blender until smooth. Fine strain liquid into 2×2” ice cube molds. Freeze for a minimum of 4 hours, preferably overnight.
C & C OLD FASHIONED
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila
.5 oz. Crème de Cacao (Suggest Tempus Fugit®)
2 Dashes Orange Bitters
Garnish Half Fig and Cacao Dusting
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a glass mixer. Add ice, stir well for 30 – 45 seconds and strain into a rocks glass. Add a large ice block and garnish.
CRISTALINO ESPRESSO MARTINI
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila
.75 oz. Fresh Brewed Espresso
1 oz. Licor 43®
.5 oz. Coffee Liqueur (Suggest Mr. Black®)
3 Dashes Chocolate Bitters
Garnish 3 Coffee Beans
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Dry shake (no ice) for 6 seconds. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a chilled Martini glass. Garnish.

STRAWBERRY SMASH
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Casamigos Blanco or Casamigos Reposado Tequila
.75 oz Fresh Lime Juice
.75 Strawberry Purée (Suggest REAL)
4 Basil Leaves
Garnish 3 Heart-Shaped Strawberries through Skewer and Large Basil Leaf
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into a tin shaker. Muddle basil. Add ice, shake vigorously and fine strain into a small coupe glass. Using a small heart-shaped cookie cutter, create heart-shaped strawberries and garnish.

1 oz. Casamigos Cristalino Tequila
.25 oz. Vanilla Syrup (Suggest Torani®)
2 Dashes Angostura® Bitters
1⁄2 Thick Rim Salt/Sugar/Cinnamon
Top off with Chilled Prosecco or Champagne
Garnish Sage Leaf Attached with Mini Clothes Pin or Floating in Cocktail
Instructions
Wet 1⁄2 rim of glass with orange wheel or wedge then dip into salt mixture. Combine all ingredients, except prosecco/champagne into a tin shaker. Add ice, shake vigorously and strain into a rimmed champagne flute. Top off with chilled prosecco/champagne and garnish.
