IMG and Spring Studios partnered with Chase Sapphire to host a consumer event called Glam Slam, which combines fashion and tennis.

Glam Slam took place during two of New York’s heavily attended and highly talked about events, The US Open Tennis Championships and NY Fashion Week. This event was held on the Rooftop Terrace of Spring Studios in Tribeca and was produced by FOCUS. Upon arrival, guests were greeted by staff members and roamed around to various stations set up throughout the location. Attendees were provided with a variety of food, wine, and cocktail options.
The evening also included a panel discussion on the intersection of fashion and sport in today’s pop culture with fashion designer icon Cynthia Rowley, Style of Sports Founder Claudia Lebenthal, and professional tennis player Alexandra Stevenson. They discussed how fashion has progressed in tennis due to figures like Serena Williams, who have created a space to be more expressive with their style. Guests were also allowed to view a pop-up show takeover featuring Rowley’s Sports designs in the Glam Slam experience village. The night ended with a live screening of the Men’s Semifinal #2 on a large screen on the rooftop.
