Raising Cane’s painted the Big Apple ORANGE this Halloween with the grand unveiling of America’s largest pumpkin.

Bravo star Gia Giudice came out to a fan event in Times Square to introduce the largest jack-o’-lantern in the United States. Dipping into the fact that the pumpkin weighed in at a whopping 2,741 pounds, guests at the holiday affair sizzled with delight.

It may have been a rainy afternoon, but the day was still hot with sightings of celebrity guests, including Jordyn Woods, Food God, Luann de Lesseps, Dolores Catania, Nick Barrotta, Terance Mann, and Ziaire Williams.

Carved by Food Network stars Eric Jones, Monique Hawk, and William Wilson, the pumpkin was carved live for more than 30 hours with 100 different carving tools on the legendary Military Island located across from Raising Cane’s Global Flagship in Times Square.

“I cannot imagine a better venue than this,” said Jones to the crowd, who delighted in chicken-finger dipping and bites in between speeches. He took time with his team to reflect on the significance of being able to display the pumpkin in the world’s most visited destination of Times Square.

A masterpiece inspired by all things New York, the delicious day of holiday fun was also a cherished moment for Raising Cane’s owner and founder, Todd Graves, who loves Halloween.

“I’ve always loved Halloweens and jack-o’-lanterns and dreamed of having the biggest pumpkin in the world, and last year we got it. This year, we have the first and second largest pumpkins in the country, and I wanted to share them with as many people as possible, which is why we have one on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and one in the heart of Times Square at Military Island. I wanted to display the pumpkins where people would be able to see and enjoy them, and more than 400,000 people walk by Military Island each day. I couldn’t think of a better place to share this pumpkin with the world,” stated Graves.

“It was amazing working with Eric, Monique, and William again to bring this creation to life, and I know Gia loves Halloween, so we thought she’d be the perfect person to officially unveil the biggest pumpkin in the country. Halloween is a fun time, and pumpkins are so inspiring,” he further explained.  “I want kids to walk by this pumpkin and know that they can be a grower or a carver – or anything they want to be – and have the opportunity to bring joy to so many people through their passions.”

Happy Halloween!
