The annual Race To Erase MS gala returns on May 20th, 2022 in gala form to the newly renovated Fairmont Century Plaza hotel, adjacent to Beverly Hills. This will be the 29th year of the gala for the incredible organization founded by philanthropist Nancy Davis.
Set to perform are Nile Rodgers and his band Chic to close out the evening’s program, also scheduled to feature a fashion show from Tommy Hilfiger‘s Adaptive line, with clothing designed specifically for those that suffer from disabilities and diseases like MS, where dressing can be difficult.
Nancy Davis and her team at Race to Erase MS to date have raised over $50 million for MS research, conducting through the scientists and doctors that make up her national virtual network, the Center Without Walls. As a result of their support and work toward a cure, and there are now 22 FDA approved medications and therapies available to treat multiple sclerosis.
The Fairmont Century Plaza hotel has become an in demand hotel setting, having hosted the recent Oscar nominees luncheon and Critics Choice Awards.
Every year a slew of talent comes out to support at the gala which includes over 1000 guests. Supporters include names like Elton John to La Toya Jackson, Paris Hilton to Victoria Justice, Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna, Amelia Gray and Delilah Belle, Lance Bass to David Foster, Avril Lavigne to Selma Blair who was a recent honoree, Mario Lopez to the Osbourne family, Joan Collins, Steven Tyler, Alyson Stoner, Aly Michalka, Vanna White, and many, many more. Tommy Hilfiger, who will host this year’s fashion show, has been a supporter for many, many years.
