TRESemmé and PatBO celebrate a New York Fashion Week collaboration with a lavish fete at Zero Bond private club.
If you were worried New York Fashion Week was never coming back after the COVID-19 pandemic, put that concern to rest. The place to be on Saturday night in NYC was the TRESemmé and PatBO party at private club Zero Bond, celebrating their limited-edition accessories collaboration and PatBO’s fashion week show.
All the trappings for a great party were there: Black SUVs lined the cobblestoned lane and guests lined up waiting to climb to the top floor of the Bond Street manse. The door and the guest list- two of the last bastions of NYC exclusive chic- were exquisitely challenging, making the scene within even more tantalizing.
As temperatures dropped outside and a touch of snow began to flutter, things upstairs were only warming up. Stepping out of the elevator, guests got an eyeful of a pop-up TRESemmé Hair Salon with stylists using TRESemmé’s One Step Stylers, a suite of professional-grade products formulated for quick and perfect styling, whether you’re after volume or sleekness, or something in between. Touch ups were offered by celebrity hairstylist Marco Peña.
Guests were also treated to a preview of the PatBOxTRES accessories collaboration. PatBO designers teamed up with stylist-recommended TRESemmé to create 2 sets of hair accessories that compliment the One Step Stylers.
Featured in the PatBO Fall/Winter 2022 Runway Show, the kits include items handmade in PatBO creative director’s native Brazil. The first, ideal for the boho-forward woman with its bold pattern and brassy hardware, includes two gold-tone bobby pins with pearl beads, a black velvet turband, and a printed chiffon hair scarf.
The Effortless Luxe kit feels particularly uptown and features a petit hand-beaded headband in white, a luxe velvet hair tie with the bow detail and two bobby pins.
The dance floor was ruled by DJ Mei Kwok and a backdrop featured a video loop of the Brazilian and Art Deco-infused Fall/Winter 2022 PatBO Runway Show, while the bar featured Cincoro cocktails. Guests in attendance included Patricia Bonaldi, Designer of PatBO, writer Carrie Berk, Joy Corrigan, Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters, Adina Kam of Adina Jewels, Larissa Muehleder, designer at Meuhleder, photographer Andrew Warren, and more.
