Peacock provided that an escape with entertainment can pay off in more ways than one.

The streaming home of hit shows, live sports, exclusive originals, and blockbuster movies really has something for everyone – even crime enthusiasts. Hosting on Dec. 12, Peacock brought together fans for the first-of-its-kind Crime and Unwind spa experience in New York City. The incredible event was designed to embrace the unexpected sense of calm true crime fans report from gripping storylines and soothing narrator tones.

Attendees came out to Remedy Place in Soho for a day full of relaxation in the most unexpected way. Tailored to crime junkies, guests delved into the best immersive experience of the week that solved the case and passed along the judgment that Peacock is simply one of the best streamers in the industry.

Understanding the fascinating – yet paradoxical – phenomenon that 56% of viewers confess to finding true crime content relaxing, they set up a brilliant event that gave guests a way to binge and unwind all in one amazing setting. Enjoying healthy snacks, manicures, and getting personal portraits “suspected criminals” done by the Drawing Booth was just a great way to kick off a day of outstanding treatments.

The splendid offerings of Remedy Place were a lineup of clever curated packages of crime-themed treatments where guests immersed themselves in suspense while suspending their stress. There was the favorites of The Airtight Alibi (Hyperbaric Oxygen Chamber): Step into The Airtight Alibi where high pressure oxygen becomes the perfect accomplice in the pursuit of cellular healing; Premeditated Relaxation (Red Light Bed) where an underground operation stimulates collagen production so effectively, you needed a new photo ID; and the Knot Guilty AI Massage (AI Bodywork Scan and Massage): where the AI detective conducted a thorough investigation of every muscle, hunting down tension like a seasoned pro.

This fantastic day also gave guests a perfect chance to enjoy themed relaxation lounges equipped with cozy seating where they unwind to over 200+ titles of criminally good content on Peacock.

From bingeworthy scripted Peacock Originals like Based on a True Story to new documentaries and a full library of beloved franchises like Dateline and Homicide: Life on the Street, there’s something for every viewer’s case file, allowing guests to customize their relaxation experience with their preferred programming.
