WePresent, a part of WeTransfer, recently won an Oscar for the Riz Ahmed film The Long Goodbye.
WePresent is getting a new look!
The platform has been making waves, especially with their recent Oscar win for the film they co-produced—The Long Goodbye, which stars Riz Ahmed. The 20-minute short film is about an immigrant family in London whose life turns upside down in the span of only a few minutes. The story is one of heartbreak and is extremely relevant to our time.
Recently, WePresent has taken the stories of creators and brought them to life. As their website states, “ Our mission is to be the most representative creative site on the internet, creating projects that move the cultural needle and start conversations.”
WePresent has worked with more than 1000 artists from over 100 countries since its fruition. On Thursday, many artists, creators, and musicians came together to celebrate the launch of their new website while also giving thanks for how the company has developed their visions into something concrete.
The event was held at LUME Studios in New York. Each wall of the studio was lit up with different artwork. The night was filled with music, dancing, laughter, and spectacular drinks. WePresent originally began as an editorial blog and is a rising creative platform that is expanding the world of art, music, and photography.
