On June 2, Starz hosted an exclusive screening and concert at the Best Buy theater in Times Square to launch the new season of their hit show “Power.”
In attendance were all of the show’s biggest stars such as 50 cent, Omari Hardwick, Joseph Sikora, Lala Anthony and more! The thrilling new drama has more surprises than ever in just one episode. Picking up from the exact scene where the last season ended, the cast and fans finally got to see what happens next! The episode ended with even more of a spine chiller just as the story line thickened. With 50 Cent’s character “Kanan” out of jail and “Tommy” after his best friend’s true love, anything can happen!

Following the screening, was an uproar of cheers from the fans desperate to tune in for the next episode. The screen rose and the band was revealed! 50 cent took the stage. Accompanied by the other members of his rap group G-unit, the fans cast and crew all sang along to some of the group’s classic hits such as “What up Gangsta” and “In Da Club”. The surprises continued throughout the show as Elle Varner, Rotimi, Joe, Jeremih, 821, MGK and Troy Ave all performed some of their smash hits as well! Fans came hungry and left happy with a first peak at the highly anticipated return of Power and good music to end the night.
