This party is as lavish as you can get
Every year, New York City socialites, Jean and Martin Shafiroff, host an annual Thanksgiving cocktail party and toy drive at their lavish home in Midtown Manhattan. On Monday, November 20th, Jean and Martin continued their tradition by hosting over 100 guests where every guest was able to indulge in some of the finest wines and champagnes and sample some of their delicious hors d’oeuvres. There was a very diverse group of people attending this event, ranging from directors and heads of companies all the way to people who are social activists and community organizers.
Their house was extremely refined, having artwork hanging from every wall, and the home gave off an aura of grandeur. Midway through the party, Jean thanked her guests for their support for the NYC Mission Society and announced that this organization has plans to open a charter school in their Minisink Townhouse in Harlem. After speeches were made thanking the guests, the party started to end. However, towards the end, the group of people left were ones who were very lively. People started to play the piano and sing songs as well as guests making lasting connections with other guests. Overall, this party was a great success and was for a great cause. We definitely look forward to seeing what next year’s party has in store.
