New York City was many shades of pink as ‘ELLE WORLD’ took over for a dazzling tribute to one of pop culture’s most enduring female protagonists, Elle Woods.
The June 20 event transformed the Hall of Lumières for two major milestones: the upcoming premiere of ‘ELLE,’ Prime Video’s highly anticipated prequel series, and the 25th anniversary of Legally Blonde, the beloved film that first introduced audiences to the icon that is Elle Woods, portrayed by Reese Witherspoon.
The day brought together the old and the new, uniting cast members from across the Legally Blonde universe to mingle beneath vibrant installations and immersive projections that paid homage to Elle’s iconic journey, celebrating both its past and its future.

That future arrived in the form of Lexi Minetree, the young actress selected to portray a teenage Elle Woods in the series. Joining her was Chandler Kinney (portrays Kimberly), Gabrielle Policano (portrays Liz), Jacob Moskovitz (portrays Miles), Zac Looker (portrays Dustin), June Diane Raphael (portrays Eva Woods), and Tom Everett Scott (portrays Wyatt Woods).

During the audition process, Minetree recreated the iconic Harvard admissions video that fans know and love from the original film, capturing the same wit, determination, and unmistakable Elle Woods energy that audiences have cherished for decades. The effort ultimately led to a personal meeting with Witherspoon, who shared the news that Minetree had secured the role.
