On Wednesday August 5, the exclusive Summer Soirèe was hosted by Urban Daddy and Grey Goose at The Roof in the Viceroy Hotel. The French summer inspired evening was complete with live music, exclusive cocktails and a gorgeous setting.
Upon arrival, guests were welcomed with sweeping Central Park views on the rooftop. A live DJ and the summer cocktail attire set a vibe that was cool and upscale.
The cocktail menu featured a variety of Grey Goose vodka cocktails made with freshly picked herbs and a touch of citrus. On the menu the classic Grey Goose vodka soda finished with lime and mint was found along with more inventive choices such Grey Goose Le Melon and soda, lime and cucumber and Grey Goose La Poire and soda, lemon and oregano.
The seafood bar was fully stocked with fresh oysters, crab claws, shrimp, and lobster served with herbs and butter. There was also a meat and cheese station where guests enjoyed just that along with french bread and pickled baby cucumbers and peach skins. Tasty hors d’oeuvres were also being offered to guests including duck l’orange and rack of lamb.
The fun continued as the sun went down as a live violinist joined the DJ while the step and repeat was replaced with a very complete crepe bar. Chefs prepared this staple french dessert in front of the guests with expertise. The menu included the never failing classics: butter with lemon zest, strawberry and Nutella, and banana and dulce de leche accompanied by a very decadent toppings bar with every sweet imaginable.
The photo booth stations added a fun touch and served as the perfect opportunity to document the occasion. There was a chance to record a short video describing your perfect summer soirée for a chance to win a trip to Le Logis, the French home of Grey Goose.
