Leading the pack are the usual shows in Mad Men, Game of Thrones, and Downton Abbey, while some new faces make their first appearances such as Better Call Saul, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and Orphan Black
The 2015 Emmy Award Nominations were announced today and it’s pretty much exactly what one may expect with the nominations. Game of Thrones went on to lead the pack in nominations which is no surprise at all. What is shocking is that, finally, Tatiana Maslany received some recognition for her exceptional work in Orphan Black. For those who may not have watched the show before, Maslany doesn’t just play one character — this season she played six different characters which is usually about her average per season. She’s exceptional, and it’s about time people noticed.
Andy Samberg will be hosting the 2015 Primetime Emmy Awards on September 20, 2015.
