Froth Coffee Bar turned what is typically a cafe space into a dance hall for the afternoon as friends of Ukraine joined together to raise money for those affected by the Russian war in Ukraine.
The conflict, which has been on-going since at least 2014, ballooned into a full scale war in the past month, completely destabilizing the safety of Ukrainians with intense and constant violations of human rights and execution of war crimes by Russian forces. As a result, global outpouring of support for Ukrainian people has taken place, motivated by the stunning destruction to infrastructure and quality of life for uninvolved Ukrainian citizens.
Located at 90 Rivington Street, Froth Coffee Bar has supported the humanitarian efforts wholeheartedly, showing commitment to the historical and current Ukrainian population in and around New York City with an afternoon of dancing, drinking, shopping and eating at their Lower East Side bar, with all proceeds going toward the fund for a new generator at the Kharkiv Maternity Hospital. The hospital is located in the hard-hit city of Kharkiv, not far from the Russian-Ukrainian border and a home of nearly 1.5 million people.

Business supporters of Ukraine and the event included Tasty Slice, a pastry studio in New York City offering their dishes at the event, Shoo Shoo Nolita, a Mediterranean restaurant at 371 Broome Street, the farm-to-table Pi Bakerie, eco-conscious water company Boxed Water, and local coffee producer Brooklyn Roasting Company.
Guests and supporters at the event included DJ and producer Nick Botis, musician John Loy, events promoter and DJ Avante Price (who spun music during the event), creator Arnag Baltaian (who also provided sound), designer Pretty Ballads, and members of the community around New York City.
