Upon first impression, the shooting script of “Me and Earl and the Dying Girl” – which has been adapted from a novel by its author, Jesse Andrews – has a very similar voice to that in most other recent young-adult fiction: a specific combination of intelligence and fear, which usually manifests in young men and women’s voices as a sort of enthusiastic shrugging, an accepted worry.
The most fascinating thing about “The Wolfpack,” a documentary which premiered at Sundance this year, can be read in the plot description: “Locked away from society in an apartment on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, the Angulo brothers learn about the outside world through the films that they watch.”
“Jurassic World” was directed by Colin Trevorrow, written by Rick Jaffa, Amanda Silver, Derek Connolly, and Trevorrow and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D’Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, J B.D. Wong, and Irrfan Khan.
