Impulse! International and DuJour Magazine held a celebration for the launch of Lionel Richie’s new collection of tabletop and decor accessories at the new roof top lounge, PHD atop the new Dream Hotel in Midtown.
The American singer and songwriter reminesced about the special memories he had with his friends and family over the years. Starting with memories from his childhood of his family sitting around the table to the memories he’s created with his children in recent years, all revolve around gathering around a table. Thus, he has brought it all together in his new collection of Lionel Richie Home to share a portion of his soul and spirit, as well as a teaste of what has inspired him over the years.
The collection features plates with graphic neo-Victorian desgns and motifs on the rim as well as gold accented pieces of glassware. Much of the glassware is minimal with gold accents around the rims to contrast the bold and graphic dishes. The table settings created in this collection are endless and are able to be transitioned from a casual family dinner to a full formal table setting by adding a few elements.
Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres were served at the party, with a beautiful view of Times Square.
