DJ Khaled, SZA and Migos Lead the 2018 BET Awards Nominations

DJ Khaled is leading the pack with six nominations for the award show scheduled for next month.

The nominations for the upcoming BET Awards have been announced last night, Tuesday, May 15. DJ Khaled is leading the nominations with six nods, including album of the year for Grateful and video of the year for “Wild Thoughts” which featured Rihanna and Bryson Tiller.

Migos and SZA are a close second with four nominations each. Other artists considered for key awards include Beyonce, JAY Z, Drake, Cardi B, Chris Brown and Bruno Mars.

In the film, category nominees include Black Panther, Girls Trip, and Wrinkle in Time. Tiffany Haddish is nominated for best actress along with the likes of Issa Rae and Lupita Nyong’o, while Michael B. Jordan faces off against Chadwick Boseman and more for best actor.

Venus and Serena Williams are among the nominees for Sportswoman of the year while LeBron James and Steph Curry are among the sportsman of the year nominees.

The BET Awards will air live on BET on June 24 from Los Angeles. See the full list of nominees below.
