Converse Inc. unveil their Converse Chuck Taylor All Star II with a global launch in Boston.
The showing was held at a World War I era warehouse in South Boston and consited of 130 members of the media and special guests from around the world. The launch presentation was led by Converse President and CEO Jim Calhoun and those in attendance received a first look at the innovative new sneaker, a contemporary addition to the Chuck Taylor family.
This design combines durable new details including a Nike Lunarlon sockliner, nonslip padded tongue, super soft micro-suede lining and a premium canvas. While dialed-up details include the high foxing, monochrome matte eyelets, tonal pinstripes and statement embroidered All Star patch. The sneaker made its debut yesterday at Converse retail stores, select retailers and online at Converse.com, in Black, White, Red and Blue. Check out the images from the event below:
